The King Philip Teachers Association was founded in 1957, the same year the school district opened. Dedicated to improving education for the children in grades 7-12 of the towns of Norfolk, Plainville, and Wrentham, the K.P. teachers joined forces with the Massachusetts Teachers Association and the National Education Association and still maintain that affiliation.

Aims of the Association
  • Develop and promote adoption of:
    • ethical practices
    • personal policies
    • standards of preparation and participation
  • To unify and strengthen the teaching profession
  • Enable members to speak with a common voice
  • Represent its members' viewpoints to the King Philip School Committee, MDE, and the public
